Finances

Every year the Parish Council agrees on a budget and sets a precept for the Parish. This precept is paid by each householder as part of their annual council tax bill. The Parish Council councillors then manage the precept income against various expenses and long term projects (e.g. cycle track) for the benefit of the village. The Council Precept for the financial year 1st April 2020-31st March 2021 is £6,328. Copies of the Council’s annual published accounts which highlight the income and expenditure for the Parish Council can be viewed and downloaded below. Individual items of expenditure, a summary of purpose and amount can be found in the Parish Council Minutes.
